The Ferry Quay – “right on the river”

The Ferry Quay is so named because in the past a ferry operated from here to Sutton-  on the other side of the river, and now home to the National Trust site of Sutton Hoo Visitors Centre http://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/suttonhoo/

It has a cafe which overlooks the live-aboard boats that make up the bohemian and eclectic community that live there.

Fantastic views along the river and a paradise for Birdwatchers.
