A group show with Mary Blue, Caroline Mackintosh, Jean Noble RI,SWA, Erin Ward and Tassie Russell.
15th July to 26th August
Mary Blue is a contemporary painter, originally from the USA and now living and working in North Norfolk. Her paintings, which start as sketches plein air, reflect upon the impermanence of life and the forces of nature.
Caroline Mackintosh is a landscape and semi-abstract artist living and working in Suffolk. She is inspired by the Suffolk countryside as well as travelling further afield to paint, in particular to the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, and the Lake District where she is drawn to the dramatic lines and strong shapes formed by shifts in light in the landscape.
Jean Noble RI, SWA is a contemporary artist living and working between London and Essex. Her work explores the boundary between representation and abstraction.
Tassie Russell is a contemporary artist living and working in Suffolk. She is best known for her large canvases with subdued colours and nuanced use of geometric forms.
Erin Ward is a landscape artist living in Yorkshire whose work is inspired by regular walking visits to coastal regions particularly Cornwall and the East Coast including Norfolk. Erin is drawn to painting the extremes where land and sea meet, where rock meets water and salt water meets fresh water.
