This March Woodbridge Jewellery Workshop will be celebrating ten successful years in The Thoroughfare, Woodbridge.
A greater achievement than that though – it will be fifty years since Rick started making beautiful pieces of jewellery at Asprey in Bond Street.
To celebrate they are holding a Charity Open day on Saturday 2nd March.
And as on their two previous Open Days, they have set Rick the challenge of making a piece of jewellery in just one day. He will be making a gold, platinum and diamond necklace, and everyone is invited to come to the workshop to watch Rick work.
He will be starting at 9.30 a.m and will have finished by 5.00 p.m.
It promises to be an entertaining day - quite a party.
Suffolk choir Pop Chorus are performing twice, at 11.30a.m and 4.20p.m and a local musician is providing a musical accompaniment throughout the day.
As well as creating a beautiful necklace they are hoping to raise £2000 for charity. For just a £10 donation you can enter the draw to win the necklace. You can enter as many times as you like, each £10 donation will count as one entry.
Go to their fundraising page https://giving.fightbladdercancer.co.uk/pf/woodbridgejewelleryworkshop or donate in person in the workshop.
For every £10 donation you will be allocated one ticket for the draw.
At 5pm the draw will take place and we will contact the lucky winner.
All money raised will go to Fight Bladder Cancer. Bladder cancer affects over 20,000 people each year, but has only had it’s own dedicated charity since 2014. Rick and Maggie turned to them for help and advice after Maggie’s shock diagnosis five years ago.
The neckace will be valued over £1000 but could be yours for just £10.
