In May, we held the latest of our popular Art Shows in the Salvation Army Hall in Woodbridge. The event raised £494 and our thanks go out to all those members of the public who attended and supported the event. Watch out for the announcement later this year for our next Art Show event which we have planned for the end of October.
In June, we took part in the Woodbridge Jubilation Event and ran a Tombola stall on Kingston Field. The event was blessed with wonderful weather and again we are deeply indebted to the kind people of Woodbridge who helped us raise £407 on the day. We would also like to extend our thanks to Woodbridge Town Council for their organisation of the event.
We have a new Club President, Peter Button, who succeeds Bob Brown at the end of his successful year in office. This was celebrated, in the traditional way, by a lunch to mark the handover of responsibilities.

Bob’s final act as President was to present Lion Mick Hilton with the Lion of the Year Award for his efforts during the year in supporting every event and always being available to help the Club with whatever tasks are required.
