A very wet and muddy cross country series took place between December and March. Twenty different running clubs took part at six events across the county with runners accumulating points for their finishing position.

The Juniors Under 13 Girls Team also finished 3rd for the first time and represented by Junior coach Kate Hayward-Brackenbury.

Mike Ward Team captain was very pleased with this year’s achievements.
He said: “Congratulations to the individual winners and it’s great to see the overall team performance. We were able to field high numbers in all the events in pretty challenging conditions and having access to a mini bus to transport the team really helped as well.”
