Festival of Art and Music, The Tide Mill and Boathouse, Whiststocks Square, Woodbridge, Suffolk.
Woodbridge Festival of Art and Music presents two days of projections on the iconic Tide Mill for their annual pioneering and eco friendly alternative to bonfire night. Fish Friendly Fireworks has been nominated for both the Suffolk Council Green Impact award and BBC Radio Suffolk Make a Difference award.
Projections on the Tide Mill with the Drive About disco van, it’s first time out since Glastonbury and Noise of Art sensations, the Open Call Art projections, music by Ben Osborne and Daddy Turbo and visuals by Prick Image, Your Mum, Girl in a T-Shirt and Janice Oliver. Plus recycled lanterns and badge making eco-art workshops, Manna Caribbean grill, The Boathouse BBQ and Woodyard Bars and Kitchens and Woodbridge Art Club open exhibtion.
Day One, Saturday 4 November
5pm-9pm
DJs sets by sound system DJ Daddy Turbo and Noise of Art’s Ben Osborne, 2023’s Fish Friendly Fireworks, images contributed to the Festival’s open call for artworks projected on the Tide Mill, specially commissioned AV shows and new artworks - plus the Drive About disco van, Manna Food and eco-art lantern workshops. Contributions to the Open call come from professional artists through to young children, current Barbican gallery exhibitors, Chelsea Arts Club and Woodbridge Art Club members, local schools and many more.
Day Two, Sunday 5 November - The Fish and Family Friendly after party.
5pm-7pm.
Couldn't make it to last night's spectacular - fear not, night two sees music from Ben Osborne, plus 2023’s Fish Friendly Fireworks and projections on the Tide Mill of images contributed to the Festival’s Open call for artworks.
