Yesterday saw 120 ladies from the Red Hat Society arrive in Woodbridge for a day of shopping, exploring and generally enjoying the town.

The group included ladies from various parts of the Uk and included their members from Holland and Belgium.

The Red Hat Bees were greeted my the town mayor, Nigel Phipps who welcomed the group to Woodbridge and provided some information about the town.

The Red Hat Bees gathered around the Tide Mill for the welcome and then dispersed to Whisstocks Place before heading into town for the day.

The town businesses had already entered into the spirit with a window competition based on the red and purple to welcome the Bees which was judged by the Queen Bee and Deputy Queen Bee.

After exploring the Thoroughfare they headed to Market Hill to experience the Berry Festival which was running for Saturday only and where the group were delighted to have a group photo on the Shire Hall together with the Mayor before heading back to their hotel at Ufford Park.
