The winners will be announced at a black tie ceremony to be held at the Royal Lancaster Hotel near Hyde Park, London on May 11.

The Greats Gift Retailer Awards seek to recognise and reward outstanding gift shops and gift departments across the UK.

Peter Whiteman has been running the shop with his wife Jelena for seven and a half years. They stock a variety of brands, including Jellycat Toys, as well as stationary, ceramics, toys and greeting cards.

Peter Whiteman, who runs AMORE with his wife Jelena, said: "Winning would be a big boost for all the team to know that their hard work and excellent service have been rewarded."
