Their members entered 31 prints for Mike Lloyd to judge. His comments and critique were very helpful.
The winner was Sue Garrod with Sexy Saxon.
Second place went to Joan Moore for her image 'Wheels'.
Third place went to Steve Stammers for 'Bald Eagle on Bergy Bit, Glacier Bay, Alaska'.
Judge Mike Lloyd also highly commended images by Christine Brown, Robin Garrod and Richard Brown, and commended images by Sue Garrod and Derek Rothwell.
Their next big event is the AGM on Tuesday 17th September 2024. Members will be able to volunteer for election to the Steering Group and elect officer of the Club.
They are suffering the same fate as all small groups with members wanting to attend on an occasional basis but not wanting to commit to helping run the organisation. The club may have to re-think the way the club runs and what activities we can offer.
