We at Choose Woodbridge are devastated to hear the news of Barretts of Woodbridge closing, Barretts has been a shining example of a large independent retail businesses in the Thoroughfare, Woodbridge and for over 50 years has been an institution in Woodbridge.

Like all high street businesses Barretts have battled against market trends for many years to remain an independent shopping experience for Woodbridge and will be sadly missed.

 Woodbridge is renown for it’s wealth of independent shops and although losing Barretts will be a large gap to fill Woodbridge still remains a great place for shopping and exploring which makes Woodbridge a destination to visit and support.

We express our thanks to Jill and Michael and all their loyal staff that have given Barretts a fantastic reputation and the support for the town over the years.
