Hidden in Elmhurst Park is the Elmhurst Park kitchen garden.

Essentially a walled garden, the site has been utilised as a community garden since 2011. The lease for the site is due to expire on December 31st, 2025, therefore WTC are seeking expressions of interest for the use of the facility from January 1st, 2026.

In order to guide the Council’s decision making and to ensure that the Council makes responsible use of its property, WTC wish to understand the level interest from local organisations/ charities for the use of this community facility as a kitchen garden/ food production area and hence are seeking Lease Application Returns from interested parties.
