It provides a small peaceful location for members of the public to relax and contemplate.

The Site was used as a burial ground from 1698 to 1937 and is now managed as a conservation area to support and attract wildlife.
Bernard Barton 1784-1849 known as ‘the Quaker Poet’ is buried here.
